My Daily Prayer

This is a pray that I wrote as we were traveling, and I was praying/worshiping in the truck. I wanted to share it. It is now on the back of our tractor. I hope you enjoy it.

A Mirror for Jesus
Dear Heavenly Father let me be, let me be A Mirror for Jesus. Let every inch of me, be a reflection of him for him and all to see. Let none of my imperfections show, so when he or anyone looks at me only His Love is what they will know.

Please Father let me be, let me be A Mirror for Jesus. Let me reflect His Love back to him so He will see just how much he means to me.Let His Compassion reflect on my face, so He will know the compassion he gave to me and everyone was worth his life.

Let His Strength be reflected in my arms and shoulders. Let it reflect back to him to replenish and refresh his spirit as it has strengthened me.Let my hands reflect His Guidance, so He will know that he has shown me the Truth and the Way.

Let His Forgiveness reflect in my smile, to show Him just how clean He has washed my sins away. Let my smile reflect His Judgement, to let everyone know He is Just in your will, Father, that sent him.

Let my heart be a mirror image of His Holy Spirit. An image of The Father. Let it reflect the awe, wonder, and the very essence of God’s being. For it is in my heart that he lives.

I wish to reflect to him All that he has given to me, but as a human I am imperfect. I can only give him imperfection. But if I were, A Mirror for Jesus; I could reflect His Perfect Love for All to see. So, Please Father let me be, let me be A Mirror for Jesus.

Bon Wier, Tx

I spent four day at the Bon Wier Baptist Church in September of 2005. I was there with a load of FEMA ice. I worked with the Sierra Hot Shots from California as well as the local people. I have been working FEMA for a couple of years now and can tell you that the majority of people that come for the relief supplies at first need the help. But after a few days, it turns into a government handout/greed situation. There are a lot of ungrateful people out there. Never satisfied with the basic necessities of life. But always, every where I've been, there a few people that come through the line and refuse more then what they need to get by for that day. They will give back the extra and tell me to hold it for someone that needs it more then them. It is for these people that I keep doing Hurricane relief.

Bon Wier, TX Everybody, I'll say it again, Everybody that came through that line only took what they needed and nothing more. Extra meals, water, and ice were giving back with instructions to pass it on to someone that needed it. Everybody in the community made sure that their neighbors had food and water. Those with generators helped out with hot showers. And when our fork lifts got taken away, every body helped unload the supplies and walk the ice off of my truck. The ladies of the church made sure that I got showers. They fed me, and even washed my clothes. (a special mention for Mildred, Kathy, and Linda....Thank You) It was an honor to bust my butt for these wonderful people.

New Orleans Jan. 6th

We are currently working with FEMA. We took a load of water to Chamette, LA and took the following picture from the window of our truck.

Pictures do not tell the whole story. You would not believe the smell in the area.
